The Great South Wall & Poolbeg Lighthouse

The Great South Wall extends 4km from Dublin Port out into Dublin Bay.  At the end wall, guiding the ships safely into the port stands the Poolbeg Lighthouse.  Using an Hoya R72 Infrared filter on my Olympus OMD-EM1 camera, the landscape scene is rendered in infrared with the filter blocking visible light and only allowing infrared light to pass. The world in infrared has a very different look.  The red Poolbeg lighthouse is rendered white, the blues in the skies and sea go dark and moody.  The resulting image is a surreal and eerie world.
